Legal information · Updated 18 August 2026

Terms of service.

These terms govern access to and use of Drevak Journal, an English-language editorial website based in Jakarta, Indonesia, and they apply to every visitor who reads an article, submits the contact form, or otherwise interacts with the site. By reading the site, submitting correspondence, or following its links, a visitor accepts these terms to the extent permitted by applicable Indonesian law. The terms are written to explain the publication's editorial scope, the boundaries of the information it provides, and the responsibilities that apply to both the publication and its readers. Where these terms refer to Drevak Journal, that reference includes the editorial team operating the site from the address given in the footer of every page.

1. Publication scope

Drevak Journal publishes articles about men's dietary supplement habits, daily nutritional awareness, active lifestyle practices, probiotic routines, elderberry and zinc intake, digestive enzyme formulas, and related food and wellness context relevant to readers in Indonesia. Articles are editorial and informational in nature, prepared by the editorial team described on the about page, and reviewed against the methodology described on the methodology page. The publication does not operate as a retailer, does not sell supplements or any other product, and does not accept payment in exchange for favourable coverage of any named brand. Content is intended to help a general adult reader understand common terminology and published nutritional context, not to replace individual professional guidance.

2. Reading and reliance on content

A reader decides individually how to use information found on this site, and Drevak Journal does not control or guarantee how any reader applies that information in their own daily routine. Ingredient descriptions, serving notes, and cited references are presented for general understanding and may not reflect every product, formulation, or individual circumstance encountered by a specific reader. A reader is encouraged to consult a qualified health or nutrition professional before introducing a new supplement or dietary change into a daily routine, particularly where pre-existing considerations may be relevant. Nothing on this site constitutes individual advice tailored to a specific reader, and the editorial team cannot verify how a described product or ingredient interacts with any single person's circumstances.

3. Intellectual property

Article text, page layout, the Drevak Journal wordmark, and original photography commissioned for the site are owned by Drevak Journal or used under permission from the relevant rights holder. A reader may quote a short excerpt from an article for commentary, discussion, or citation purposes, provided the excerpt is clearly attributed to Drevak Journal and accompanied by a link to the original page. Republishing an entire article, systematically copying the site's layout or design, or presenting the publication's content as originating from another source requires prior written permission from the editorial desk. Requests for permission beyond short quotation should be sent to [email protected] with a description of the intended use.

4. Reader correspondence

Messages submitted through the contact form should be accurate, respectful, and limited to information reasonably needed to address the enquiry raised. The editorial desk may retain correspondence for the period described in the privacy policy in order to respond appropriately and to maintain a record of prior exchanges with a given reader. A reader should not submit sensitive personal information through the contact form beyond what is necessary to describe the enquiry, and the editorial desk will not request such information as a condition of responding. Abusive, deceptive, or automated submissions may be disregarded, and the editorial desk reserves the right to decline to respond to correspondence that does not relate to the publication's editorial scope.

5. Acceptable use of the site

A visitor agrees not to attempt to disrupt the operation of the website, not to submit automated or bulk requests designed to overload the server, and not to attempt to bypass any access or security control implemented on the site. A visitor also agrees not to use the contact form to distribute unsolicited commercial messages, and not to misrepresent their identity when submitting correspondence in a way intended to deceive the editorial desk. Drevak Journal may take reasonable technical measures, including temporarily restricting access, in response to activity that it reasonably believes violates this section. These restrictions are applied narrowly and are intended to protect the ordinary operation of the site for other readers rather than to limit legitimate reading activity.

6. Accuracy and editorial review

Drevak Journal applies the editorial review process described on the methodology page to every published article, including selection based on published nutritional sources and a second-editor accuracy check prior to publication. Despite this process, published information can become outdated as sources are updated, and the editorial team does not guarantee that every statement remains current at every later date a reader accesses an article. Where an inaccuracy is identified after publication, the editorial desk aims to correct the article and, where appropriate, note the correction, but does not undertake to notify every prior reader individually. A reader who identifies a possible inaccuracy is encouraged to report it using the contact procedure described in section 10, so that the editorial team can review and, where warranted, correct the relevant passage.

7. Links to third-party sources

Articles may reference or link to third-party sources, including published nutritional research or other informational material, to support the editorial context described in a given piece. Drevak Journal does not control the content of these third-party sources after publication and is not responsible for changes made to a linked page after an article citing it was published. Inclusion of a link does not imply endorsement of every statement made on the linked page, and a reader who follows a link leaves the Drevak Journal site and becomes subject to the linked page's own terms and privacy practices. The editorial team reviews external links periodically and removes or updates references that are found to be broken or no longer relevant.

8. Limitation of role and liability

Drevak Journal provides editorial content on an informational basis and, to the extent permitted by applicable Indonesian law, does not accept liability for decisions a reader makes based on that content without independent verification appropriate to their own circumstances. The publication does not warrant that the site will be available without interruption, free of technical error, or compatible with every device or browser a reader may use. Where a technical fault prevents a reader from accessing an article or submitting the contact form, the editorial desk will make reasonable efforts to restore normal operation within a reasonable period once the fault is identified. Nothing in this section is intended to exclude any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable Indonesian law.

9. Changes to the site and these terms

Drevak Journal may update, expand, or reorganise its published articles and site structure over time as part of ordinary editorial operation, and may update these terms to reflect changes in its practices or applicable requirements. The version of these terms in force at any time is the one published at this address, and the date shown at the top of this page indicates when it was last substantively revised. Where a change to these terms is material, the editorial desk may note it briefly on the homepage in addition to updating the revision date here. Continued use of the site after a revised version is published constitutes acceptance of the revised terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.

10. Governing law, complaints, and contact procedure

These terms are governed by the laws of Indonesia, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer or data protection provisions that may separately apply to a reader in their own jurisdiction. A reader with a complaint or question about these terms should write to the Jakarta editorial desk at [email protected], describing the concern with enough detail for the desk to review the relevant page or correspondence. The editorial desk aims to acknowledge a complaint within five business days and to provide a substantive response within thirty calendar days, during its published hours of Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00 WIB. Postal correspondence can be sent to Jalan Imam Bonjol No. 34, 10310 Jakarta Pusat, DKI Jakarta, Indonesia, and urgent matters can be raised by telephone at +62 21 2184 7205.

11. Revision log

The current version of these terms was published on 18 August 2026 and reflects the acceptable-use, editorial-accuracy, and complaint-handling provisions described above in expanded form. An earlier version of this page addressed publication scope, reliance on content, and intellectual property in more limited detail, without a separate acceptable-use section or a stated complaint response timeframe. The current revision was prepared to make the reader-facing procedure clearer and to align the stated response times with those described in the privacy policy. A reader who wishes to compare the current text against a previously reviewed version may request an earlier copy from the editorial desk at [email protected].
